Besides the fact that the author stretched the story a bit too far, the title speaks for itself: this is not a sugar-coated series and is rather tragic. But the lessons to take from it stand powerful. I think Shatter Me is hands down the best book series I’ve read and I’ve read a lot of books. The Shatter me series has so many aspects that make it amazing, but I’ll name the main ones.Love love love this book series. And although I know there are a lot of negative aspects about it and that it isn't perfect, I still think it was pretty good.
Also, so many gifts (or powers or however you want to call it)! Of course Warner's also the coolest in that department. So much action, finally, FINALLY badass and strong Juliette, so much Warner (though I have to admit I was kind of sad that he's really just a good guy in disguise and that Juliette made him so much less cool). This review is for anyone who has not read them yet—anyone older than 18. Perché ho adorato questo volume? Per la parte romance, ovviamente. Sebbene tutto ciò che è accaduto attorno a loro è stato troppo easy, non me n’è importato granché, la storia d’amore mi ha presa tantissimo. Amo Warner. È un personaggio fatto davvero, davvero bene. Costruito in un modo che rende impossibile non amarlo, non sentire il cuore stringersi per il suo passato e battere a mille per le manifestazioni d’amore verso Juliette. Mi è piaciuto da morire il suo essere freddo e minaccioso con gli altri, disinteressato a livelli epici, ma estremamente coinvolto quando si tratta di lei, l’unica a cui ha regalato cuore e anima. Non mi capitava da un po’ di sentirmi così presa da un personaggio e per Warner sono sotto una processione di tir a carico massimo. E mi è piaciuto come Juliette l’ha difeso, gli ha offerto conforto e si è fatta amare di più.Juliette has never fought for herself before. Non so quanti pezzi ho saltato pieni delle sue paranoie sul mondo, la vita, gli uccelli che non volano (una vera e propria ossessione per questi uccelli. Con tutti i libri che ha letto, non conosce animali diversi?) Altri li ho trovati più interessanti, la scrittura evocativa se piazzata nel punto giusto ti cattura. Utilizzata invece in un momento veloce o di pathos rende noiosa l’intera scena. Come nel dialogo fra Juliette e Warner prima della battaglia. Non ha davvero alcun senso perdersi in lunghissime pippe mentali quando hai di fronte una persona che attende risposta. E i lettori rischiano di dimenticarsi cos’è stato detto (io l'ho scordato). Con la protagonista è riuscito a dimostrare che ha sempre avuto buone intenzioni con lei e con il mondo, smentendo tutto quello che era stato detto su di lui.
Since it's Juliette, there was still some (a lot) emotional garbage and reasoning but she eventually found the right guy and the wrong guy turned into DEFINETELY the wrong guy (called it) and even though it ended kind of before the real action probably would have started (what with taking over the world and such) it ended on a good note. Her and Warner being inlove, Adam gets his shit together, and the world gets fixed, (Or maybe not).
Ignite Me: Best book of the Series so far. Get Yourself a Kenji. Warner MVP! Adam.. we're cool, you should date Alia. Lots of Goosebump moments.
Sanırım favori karakterim Kenji. Novellalarda biraz daha üstünde durulmuş olmasına rağmen ana kitaplarda da karakterine ve düşüncelerine ya da kendi plotuna daha fazla yer verilmeliydi diye düşünüyorum. Kenji, seriyi sürekli karanlık bir Distopya olmaktan çıkarıp pozitif diyaloglarıyla neşelendiren bir karakterdi.Castle is the father figure. He is the founder of Omega Point, a resistance group in sector 45. Kenji was his first recruit raising him from the time he was 8 after he ran from the orphanage. Castle takes on a huge responsibility for every member of OP and he enjoys his role. He struggles with being a leader and a personable figure taking on too much of everyone's problems, and can't seem to keep things in line with all these new guests. parto subito dicendo che secondo me il primo libro è veramente sottovalutato! A me personalmente è piaciuto molto. È abbastanza scorrevole, ci sono dei capitoli un po’ lenti, però vengono compensati bene da tutto il resto. Il secondo libro non mi è piaciuto molto, l’ho trovato noioso, però alla fine si è ripreso bene grazie ad alcuni capitoli. Il terzo libro è il migliore della prima trilogia. L’ho letteralmente amato alla follia. L’ho letto veramente in pochissimo tempo, è molto scorrevole. La narrazione in tutti e tre i libri è in prima persona, ed è una narrazione dal punto di vista di Juliette. I capitoli sono corti, il capitolo più lungo è di massimo 7 pagine. Ci sono alcuni colpi di scena veramente imperdibili e imprevedibili. Se cercate lo spicy non sono dei libri adatti alla vostra ricerca, ci sono una o due scene spicy nel terzo libro, nel primo e nel secondo sono inesistenti tranne per qualche bacio (descritto molto bene) però niente di più. Personalmente è una lettura che consiglio, adatta sopratutto per i ragazzi. Vi consiglio di non fermarvi al primo libro e neanche al secondo, perché ne vale veramente la pena di leggere tutta la trilogia, ma sopratutto il terzo libro🦦 Rip-roaring adventure and steamy romance scenes, with a relationship teens will root for as much as they did for Bella and Edward." -- ALA Booklist Ci sono una barca di errori di correzione di bozza. Virgole mancanti, punti fermi mancanti – tanto che una volta ho trovato l’inizio con la maiuscola senza la chiusura della frase precedente – frasi che s’interrompono senza i tre puntini o anche il trattino, doppi spazi a morire e spazi anche prima dell’inizio di un paragrafo. Ho letto la versione della trilogia intera, non i libri singoli, e capisco che sia un’edizione da poco ma, insomma… un po’ di attenzione in più non avrebbe guastato.
